Sophisticated and mythical

You don't often find a children's picture book that entices adults too through its sophistication. I was blown away by how the author so carefully weaves her unique Straw Giant mythology into this picture book narrative, brings up some very hard conversations for kids, and yet does it all within a precious and heart-wrenching story that leaves you wanting so much more. A superb tale!
