Lauren Holliday is a children's book author and illustrator born and raised in sunny South Africa, currently working in Cape Town.

Her upcoming series with Imagnary House, Little Chick, is due to launch during 2023. Stay tuned and keep those eyes peeled!

Lauren studied a BA Visual Art at UKZN University before becoming a traveller abroad as an au pair (which began her great love for children's books). In addition to creating beautiful children's books, she has experience in logo and brand design, stationary design and illustration.

When Lauren is not drawing on her iPad, she is either befriending local cats or hiking up a mountain and, outside of children's books (but something that you may find as an influence on her style), she has a passion for strong line work and tattoo design.
