Little Chick: Goes on an Adventure

My boys absolutely adore this little book featuring a little chick. They thoroughly enjoy reading it and admiring the beautifully illustrated pictures of all the animals within its pages.

We were lucky enough to get a personal reading from the talented author and illustrator - since then my sons been hooked!
Little chick is definitely top of the list when reading a bedtime story! My son is constantly memorised by the stunning illustrations. This story sets him up for sweet dreams at night. Written so well, we can’t wait to see a sequel! Also makes for a wonderful children’s or baby shower gift!

The cutest little book by the most talented author and illustrator.

Every night my little boy gets to pick 3 stories before bedtime...and Little Chick is always on the top of his list! Not only does he love this book, we as a family love it! Everytime I read it, he spots something new and he loves to use his finger to trace Little chick's path of adventure. Just love the illustrations and color and simple lines...it's not too busy but captivates his attention from beginning till end! Can't wait for more to come from Lauren!!

As the owner of Mighty Small, leading conscious kids store stocking the widest selection of locally and ethically made kids goods, I get to bring home a plethora of books for my 3 & 5 year old to enjoy. This time however, I did not bring it home to them, they specifically picked Little Chick off the bookshelves of my store. The bold and sweet cover peaked their curiosity, and we’ve read it almost every single night since. The storyline is simple but that’s what makes it magic. There’s something new to see in the illustrations everyone we look at the pages. I can feel my kids spirit lift at this tale of a little chick doing brave new things. Thank you for bringing this sweet book out. I hope o follow Little Chick on more adventures.
